In a recent study, people who got adequate exposure to the sun, which allows the body to produce vitamin D, and also increased their intake of foods that contain vitamin D reduced their risk of breast cancer by 30%.

Foods that are high in vitamin D include: Milk, salmon, tuna and other oily fish.

Note: Unprotected sun exposure should be limited to 15 minutes a day for fair-skinned people.
