B vitamins do prevent heart attacks, despite L)a report to the contrary. one study failed to show reduced heart attack risk. However, the participants included stroke and heart attack survivors and diabetics, all of whom were taking drugs that may have affected the results.
Best: Continue or start taking B-6, B-12 and folate if a homocysteine test shows that your levels are above eight. Raised homocysteine levels are a warning sign of heart disease.
