Of 214 patsens who had their bladders removed within 93 days of being diagnosed with cancer that had invaded the bladder wall muscle, 39% died, and the rest had a 51% chance of living for three years. When surgery was performed after 93 days, 54% died, and the rest had a 38% chance of living for three years.
