Advanced prostate cancer patients who received radiation within 16 weeks of surgery had a 50% lower risk of recurrence for 10 years than men who did not receive radiation.
Bonus: After five years, long-term side effects, including urinary dysfunction, were the same for patients who received radiation and those who did not.
