Painkillers may reduce ovarian cancer risk. Women who regularly used nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as aspirin, ibuprofen and naproxen, had a 28% risk reduction over a five-year period. Acetaminophen was associated with a 22% risk reduction. Not enough is known yet to recommend painkillers as a preventive. Consult your physician.
