A good diet and having stress under control can help with your digestive symptoms. Improvements—including less gas, bloating, cramps and firmer stool—can be seen within 30 days of using the supplements. The supplements I recommend include aloe vera juice (one or two tablespoons daily)...L-glutamine (3,500 mg twice daily on an empty stomach)...and DGI, a special type of licorice root (350 mg ro 400 mg at least 20 minutes before meals).
I also suggest a digestive enzyme complex (one capsule with or at the end of each meal) and bitter herbs, such as gentian root (10 drops in two ounces of water or a 300-mg capsule taken 10 to 15 minutes before each meal). All of these are nontoxic and can be used for an indefinite amount of time, if necessary.
